It's always exciting to play with new colours and with 'Scattered Petals' I wanted to delve into colourplay exploring the movement of colour down and across a piece. Using the softest pink ombre-d through to a dark aubergine, the colour draws your eye as much as the lines and patterns created by knotting.
Inspiration is drawn from nature, swirls and ripples and carefully knotted to represent the ever changing and unmutable environment of our surroundings whether you see mountains and valleys at sunset, the light reflecting off pebbles in rivers or scattered petals.
Knotted by hand in a unique design, I hope my slow mindful art brings a tranqil warmth and joy to your decor. Marcia x
